Biography

Gianluca was born in Orvieto October 12, 1968.

After his studies he decided to follow his instinct and go into the are of food and beverage. His first steps were with small restaurants in the city of Orvieto.

With further studies in catering and banqueting in the area of Food and Beverage Management he decided in 1996 to move to England. There he studies would also increase his English skills at the Mackworth College of Derby.

In 1997 he joined one of the hotels owned by the Virgin Hotel Group working in the area of marketing and customer service.

Near the end of 1997 he moved back to Italy to work on the Amalfi Coast in Amalfi. He continued his work there until 2005. Two of his assignments of note included the Assistant Maitre at the hotel near the Palace Pebble in Ravello; and, as the Food and Beverage Manager near Saint Peter di Positano. That established achieved the Michelin Star in 2001.

Wine steward becomes all and three professional attending the course of the AIS.

In October of 2006 he moved back to Orvieto with his companion to open the Champagneria Orvieto.
