What a wonderful surprise in the midevil town of Orvieto. An incredible Euro Metro style cafe. The full bar selection hosts Champagnes and wines not only from Italy but Europe. To add to your enjoyment of the flavor of this intimate cafe we had gourmet appetizers that filled your sences with fresh herbs and local vegetables. The best part of this cafe are the owners Gianluca and Velia whose warmth and hospitality as well as humor kept me coming back. You can eat outside and enjoy the nite air and people watching or inside with the wonderful music and art. Either way have a homemade pastery and coffee to finish the intimate evening and know your are in the true spirit of Italy!!!!

This place is awesome. The chef, Velia, treated us like family and brought out plate after plate of the most delicious tidbits until we literally could not eat anymore! It's an upscale, modern place with an old-world atmosphere of great food, wine, champagne or coffee. Unfortunately, we were in Orvieto for only one day for our previous trip a few weeks ago, but I can definitely say that if we'd had more time in Orvieto, we would have visited the Champagneria multiple times. Give it a try! I promise you'll be delighted. Happy travels!

Champagneria Orvieto is one of my favorite places: elegant, and cute. The perfect site to taste food and wine ( or champagne) into a nice and friendly atmosphere. Velia offers a wide range of Cicchetti-little appetizers always cooked and prepared with fresh and organic raw materials. Gianluca, the owner, takes care about wine and champagne....Wow I simply reccomend this place to everyone wants to try something different and REALLY GOOD like" mamma used to make"

"I am currently a student studying here in Orvieto. Some fellow students and I have spent the past 6 weeks exploring the town, all the small shops and cafes.
Recently we found an adorable cafe called la Champagneria! It is run by the most friendly people! The cafe is full of wonderful and chic ambience and delicious cappuciono and pastries, which are all handmade by the wonderful and talented 'in-house' cook, Velia. The Champagneria alkso boast a broad selection of champagne, wine and appetizers!
It has become one favorite spot here in Orvieto! Charming hosts, delightful coffee, and also wirelss internet!
I highly recommend the Champagneria to any visitors to Orvieto. It is most certainly work a visit, you won't regret it."
